May one of these solutions help you? Plz choose just one solution:

Sex Educator of the Week: Aida Manduley

8:34 PM

What project(s) in Sex Ed are you currently working on?

A million things! Two of the big highlights would be starting up a new sex-ed program for an entire all-girl's middle school and doing a lot to put LGBTQ domestic violence on the map as an issue in Rhode Island. With a healthy relationships and anti-violence lens, I work to merge the fields of violence prevention and sexuality education in my region through many different initiatives.

Bio:

With six years of LGBTQ rights activism under her belt, Aida Manduley currently serves as Programming and Development Coordinator for The Center for Sexual Pleasure and Health and the Sexual Health Advocate at a domestic violence agency. She also volunteers as an advocate with a violent crime crisis helpline and sits on various coalitions around HIV preventioncomprehensive sexuality education, and LGBTQ anti-violence work. Through these (and other additional projects, like her past term as Board Chair for a non-profit that organizes low-income communities of color for socioeconomic and political justice), Aida fights for social justice and sexual freedom, promoting digital literacy and raising the bar on interdisciplinary collaboration along the way. She graduated with a degree in Gender and Sexuality Studies from Brown University, where she won awards for her leadership and work fostering diversity.
